Had a colonoscopy scheduled for a routine checkup on 5/6/14. Doctor removed a small polyp and wants to recheck in 4 years, provided the biopsy is ok.  He will call with results in a few days.  Everything went well, the attending nurse was very nice. While we were chatting, she noticed my accent and asked about it. I told her I was Lithuanian and I just don’t know HOW and WHY 🙂 this always happens:  the conversation “innocently” turns to my book. She got so intrigued with my story, she actually gave me $20.00 and her address and I promised to mail her an autographed copy. You never know when and where an opportunity will come along, and when it does, you just have to grab it…And many thanks to the wonderful nurse who bought it!
